Dr. Thuy Tran earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. Her training included an emphasis on the treatment and management of glaucoma, retinal vascular diseases, and anterior segment pathology. She provides comprehensive eye care for all ages and has a special interest in pediatrics, including children with Downs Syndrome, Autism, and ADHD. She is a provider for InfantSEE®. She also performs specialty contact lens examinations for patients with keratoconus and other corneal diseases.
Dr. Tran was honored with the 2020 Theia Award of Excellence in Leadership and was also the recipient of the Dr. Gerardine J. Sherman Memorial Scholarship. She is the President of the Optometric Society of New York City and an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor of the State University of New York, College of Optometry.
Dr. Tran has traveled to Haiti, Colombia, and Vietnam for medical mission trips.
